1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of contenthook.site (the “Site”). The Site is operated by BlueGrey Ventures, doing business as ContentHook.site (“Content Hook”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.

If you use the Site on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for it.

2. Our services

The Site describes the research and outreach content services we offer to businesses. Any engagement for those services is governed by a separate written agreement, proposal or statement of work between you and us. If that agreement conflicts with these Terms, the agreement controls. Nothing on the Site is an offer capable of acceptance, and we may decline any engagement.

3. Using the site

You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

• use the Site in a way that breaks any law or infringes anyone’s rights;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers or related systems;
• introduce malware, or interfere with or disrupt the Site’s operation or security;
• use automated tools to scrape or copy the Site in a way that places an unreasonable load on it, or to build a competing product;
• misrepresent your identity or your affiliation with any person or organisation; or
• use the Site to send unsolicited or misleading communications.

4. Intellectual property

The Site and its content, including text, articles, graphics, designs, logos, the Content Hook name and the hook mark, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except as set out below, you may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from them without our written permission.

We believe in giving first, so you’re welcome to:

• view and print pages for your own, non-commercial use;
• share links to any page; and
• quote short excerpts from our articles, provided you credit Content Hook and link back to the original page.

Research reports we deliver to clients are licensed under the terms of the relevant client agreement.

5. Examples, samples and results

Some content on the Site is illustrative. This includes sample reports, sample statistics, example emails, example hooks and the names used in them. Unless we clearly say otherwise, this content is made up to show the format of our work. It does not represent real research findings, real people or real organisations.

Performance figures on the Site (such as changes in click-through rates, reply rates or pipeline) describe outcomes from past client engagements. They are not a promise or guarantee of future results. Outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, and your results will vary.

6. No professional advice

Articles and other content on the Site are provided for general information only. They are not legal, financial, statistical or other professional advice, and you shouldn’t rely on them as such. Please seek advice suited to your circumstances before acting on anything you read here.

7. What you send us

If you contact us or send us information, you confirm that it is accurate and that you are entitled to share it. Please don’t send us confidential or sensitive information through the Site or by email before we have agreed confidentiality terms in writing.

If you send us ideas, suggestions or feedback, you agree that we may use them freely without any obligation to you.

8. Third-party links and services

The Site may link to, or rely on, third-party websites and services, such as Google Fonts or professional networks. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content, policies or practices. Your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their own terms.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages. This includes any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Site or these Terms will not exceed one hundred US dollars (US$100).

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Content Hook and its owners, officers and contractors. This covers any claims, losses, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from your misuse of the Site or your breach of these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. You agree that the courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

13. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms from time to time by posting a new version on this page and changing the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site at any time. We may also restrict your access if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms.

14. General

If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent, and we may assign ours in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site.
