Five steps. Zero busywork for you.
You give us a couple of hours across the whole project. We do the rest, and you approve every step before we move on.
01
Find the peer group
Your buyer’s peers are the people whose opinions they actually care about. We map your ideal customer, then define the exact group whose answers your prospects will want to read. We’re specific about title, industry, company size and region.
We do
- ICP and persona workshop
- Peer-group definition
- Respondent screening criteria
You do
- One kickoff call
- Tell us who you sell to
02
Ask what they’re dying to know
The best hook questions sit on a tension: something every buyer wonders about but nobody has measured. We write a short survey (most people finish it in under ten minutes) built around those tensions, plus a few open questions for quotes.
We do
- Hook hypotheses
- Survey design and wording
- Benchmark questions for “you vs. peers”
You do
- Review and approve the questions
03
Survey 15–25 decision-makers
We recruit and screen senior respondents who match the peer group, then run the survey. Every response gets a quality check. We’d rather have 18 honest answers from real CISOs than 500 from people who clicked through for a gift card.
We do
- Recruiting and screening
- Fieldwork and follow-ups
- Quality control on every response
You do
- Nothing. Go close something.
04
Find the headline
Data is not a hook. A hook is the one finding that makes a busy executive think “wait, really?” We analyse the results looking for surprises, splits and gaps, then rank the candidate hooks by how well they open a conversation about the problem you solve.
We do
- Analysis and segmentation
- Ranked shortlist of hooks
- Quotable stats and peer quotes
05
Arm the outreach
We package everything so your team can use it straight away: a report designed to be shared, plus the emails, ads, posts and talk tracks that put the hook to work. One study keeps paying off for months.
We do
- The Hook Report
- Outreach and ad copy
- Sales enablement
You do
- Hit send
- Take the meetings
What you get
The Hook Kit.
Everything your marketing and sales teams need to turn one study into a quarter’s worth of conversations.
01 · The centrepieceThe Hook Report
A short, beautifully designed report on the findings. It’s the gift at the heart of every outreach, built to be read in five minutes and forwarded to the boss.
02Headline stats
A bank of quotable findings and peer quotes, approved and ready to drop into anything.
03Email sequences
Hook-led cold and warm sequences that give first and ask second.
04Ad angles
Headlines and copy for LinkedIn and paid social, each built around a single stat.
05LinkedIn posts
A ready-to-post series for founders, execs and sellers.
06SDR talk track
Openers, discovery questions and objection handlers built on the data.
07Deck slides
“What your peers told us” slides that make every sales deck more credible.
Not a research firm. Not a content agency. The bit in between.
Research firms give you rigour nobody reads. Content agencies give you content without new information. We give you original data built to start conversations.

On sample size
We’re not publishing in The Lancet.
Twenty senior people answering honestly tells you more about a peer group than two thousand strangers clicking through for a voucher.
Our studies are peer intelligence: directional, specific and current. We always state the sample size and who was asked, and we never dress up 20 responses as an industry census. That transparency is part of the hook: “20 CISOs at banks like yours” is more interesting to a bank CISO than “a survey of IT professionals.”

Let’s find your hook.
A 30-minute call is enough to sketch your peer group and the first hook ideas.
